An Homage to Hip Hop is a journey through the poetics of the culture. A full on immersion into the art of Hip Hop Storytelling this event will open with poetry from Khary Jackson, remarks from Tish Jones, and a soundscape from DJ JUST NINE that spans the 1973 birth of Hip Hop to the vibes of present day. Incorporating and bridging the sounds of MN into the night, Jones has invited Juice Lord and The Lioness to demonstrate the unity and diversity of Twin Cities Hip Hop. Join us for this rich night of celebration, marking Hip Hop’s 50th with some of the greatest practitioners on the scene!
